Star Energy Geothermal (Wayang Windu) Limited operates 230.5 MW of electricity capacity.

Star Energy Geothermal (Wayang Windu) Limited has exclusive right until 2039 to develop contract area under Joint Operation Contract with PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) and sale of electricity up to 400 MW under Energy Sales Contract with PGE & PLN.

SEGWW is located 40 km south of Bandung in West Java and operates a total of 230.5 MW for the Java-Madura-Bali grid. The first Unit (113.5 MW) at Wayang Windu was completed in 1999 and, since 2000, has been producing at full capacity with an availability rate of over 98%. At the time of its installation, Unit 1 was the largest geothermal turbine in the world. On March 2nd 2009, the then Indonesian Minister of Energy and Resources officially inaugurated Wayang Windu Unit 2, which has a generation capacity of 117 MW from a single turbine.
